Sahm Adrangi – A New Breed in the World of Finance

A graduate of Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics, Sahm Adrangi began his financial career in 2004 at Deutsche Bank in investment banking. In addition, he worked at bankruptcy restructuring with Chanin Capital Partners and spent some time at hedge fund Longacre Fund Management as an investment analyst. Sahm Adrangi is an aggressive investor, an astute analyst and an activist who is skilled at using social media as a tool to connect with the world of finance.

New York saw the unleashing of a new short selling and research company in 2009. Founded by Sahm Adrangi, the Company’s Chief Investment Officer, with $300,000, Kerrisdale Capital Management LLC now manages over $500 million. Mr. Adrangi and Kerrisdale Cap gained attention after researching a group of companies based in China and trading on the American stock exchanges. Reports of fraudulent activities by the Chinese companies were posted and the high-profile expose resulted in a 180% gain for Kerrisdale Cap. Sahm Adrangi was then recognized as a major league player and began to attract new money from new investors.

Through adroit use of his blog, telecommunication, webcast, an email list of 3,000 plus subscribers and frequent tweets, Mr. Adrangi shares his detailed research reports, strategy publications and investment and stock ideas.
